The studio

We are a software studio in Kigali, Rwanda, building for clients across a dozen countries.

Building from here means designing for constrained conditions by default — slow connections, mid-range devices, partial data. That produces software that is better everywhere, not only here.

We run a small number of projects at a time, on purpose. Every engagement starts with discovery, and discovery is a deliverable: a written specification, the technical approach with its trade-offs named, and an estimate grounded in both. You own that document whether or not you continue with us.

If an off-the-shelf product would solve your problem, we will point you at it. If the scope cannot be built for the budget, we will say so before you have spent anything.
